Short answer
For less than NiceJob's $75/month, Trustindex shows your Google reviews and sends review-request emails for $65 a year, and Reviews.io starts at $29/month. For video testimonials next to your reviews, VideoTestimonials is $24/month. For texting leads as well as reviews, Podium costs $399/month.

Prices checked on each vendor's own pricing page between 2026-09-29 and 2026-10-08. We update this page when a vendor changes a plan.
NiceJob is reputation marketing for local and home-service businesses: it texts and emails customers after each job asking for a review, then shows those reviews on your website and shares them on social media. It is good at that, with no contract. People look for an alternative when $75 a month is a lot for a few reviews a week, or when they want something NiceJob does not do, such as video testimonials or texting leads back. This page compares seven alternatives.
Why people leave NiceJob
- 1
$75/month to start
Starter is $75/month and Pro $125, after a 14-day free trial.
- 2
Built to grow Google reviews
Plans centre on SMS and email review requests for local service businesses; video collection is not listed.
The Starter plan includes SMS and email review requests with follow-ups, review widgets for your website, auto-sharing to Facebook and X, a team leaderboard for staff reviews, and a reviews microsite. Pro at $125 adds win-back and referral campaigns, email broadcasts, AI review replies, thank-you gifts through Jobber or QuickBooks, NPS surveys and competitor tracking. A fully managed website, Sites, is an add-on at $99 a month plus $199 setup.
None of this is a reason to leave if the review requests are working and the extra reviews are bringing calls. NiceJob's 14-day trial and no-contract terms make it easy to test. It is a reason to look around if you send a handful of requests a week, or if what you need is proof on your website that star ratings cannot give.

- Single: $65/year
- Unlimited video from
- Not offered on published plans
- Recording limit
- Not stated
- Best for
- Showing Google and other platform reviews on a website, very cheaply
- Not for
- Collecting video testimonials
Trustindex covers the two halves of NiceJob's Starter plan that most small businesses use: showing reviews and asking for them. It pulls reviews from 133 platforms, Google, Facebook and Yelp among them, into widgets with unlimited views, and it sends review-request emails and gives you QR codes that point customers to your review pages. Single is $65/year for one company with unlimited websites and widgets, and it offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Choose it if you want your Google reviews on your site and a simple way to ask for more, for the least money.
Not for: automated SMS requests after every job, referrals or a staff leaderboard.
2. VideoTestimonials — video testimonials next to your Google reviews

- Best for
- Video testimonials from local customers on your website, with Google reviews imported alongside
- Not for
- Automated SMS review requests, review replies or referral campaigns
VideoTestimonials is our product, and it does what NiceJob does not: puts your customers on video. Text or email a link after a job, or print a QR code on the invoice, and customers record a short video or write a testimonial in the browser, with no app and no account. You approve it, trim and caption it, and publish it to a Wall of Love or one of 18 widget layouts. Your Google reviews import by business name or Maps URL, with no API key, and Pro at $49/month keeps them in sync.
For a roofer, a dentist or a landscaper, a thirty-second clip of a happy customer standing in the finished job is the most convincing thing on the website. Starter is $24/month for unlimited video and 3 spaces.
Choose it if you want proof on your site that a star rating cannot give.
Not for: growing your Google review count automatically. We do not send SMS or reply to reviews; keep NiceJob or use Trustindex for that.
3. Reviews.io — review invites by email and SMS, with published prices

It also runs AI, NPS and feedback surveys, which covers the NPS part of NiceJob Pro. The free plan includes 10 testimonials, unlimited widgets and forms, a Wall of Love page and one survey. Pro at $29/month removes the limits and Shapo branding, with 2 months free on yearly billing.
Choose it if you want reviews on your site that update themselves, plus simple surveys, for one price.
Not for: automated review requests by text.
6. Podium — messaging, leads and reviews

Its feature table also lists a website chat widget and review reminder automation, and phone systems are an add-on.
Choose it if texting leads back fast is how you win jobs, and reviews are one part of that.
Not for: a business that only wants reviews. It costs over five times NiceJob Starter.
7. Birdeye — for multi-location businesses
Birdeye

- Not for
- A small business that wants a published price
Birdeye covers reviews, listings, social posting, webchat, appointment booking and surveys for multi-location brands, sold as one contract priced around your locations. It publishes no price; the pricing page asks for your number of locations and contact details first.
Choose it if you run many locations and want one vendor for reviews, listings and messaging.
Not for: a single location that wants to see a price.
The free option: your Google review link
Your Google Business Profile gives you a review link at no cost. Put it in your invoice email, text it after each job, and reply to every review. NiceJob and the tools above automate the asking and the reminders, which is worth paying for once you are busy, but the link itself is free.
Staying on NiceJob
Stay if the automated requests are working, your review count is climbing and the calls are following. NiceJob's integrations with field-service and accounting tools, the staff leaderboard and Pro's referral and win-back campaigns are built for service businesses, and there is no contract to break. Move when you are paying $75 a month for a few requests a week, or when the website needs more than stars.

How to move from NiceJob
- 1
Import your Google reviews here.
- 2
Set up a collection form and send it after each job.
- 3
Embed a Wall of Love on your site.
Feature-by-feature: VideoTestimonials vs NiceJob
Your Google reviews stay on Google, so nothing is lost. What you need to replace is the asking: before you cancel, put your new tool's request link, or your Google review link, into the same place NiceJob sent from, such as the invoice email or the job-complete text. If you used NiceJob's reviews microsite, link to your new Wall of Love or widget page instead, and update any QR codes in your vans or on your invoices.
Where VideoTestimonials fits
We are the better pick for the part of your marketing that star ratings cannot do: customers on video, on your own website, collected by a link you text after the job, with your Google reviews imported next to them, for $24 a month. We are not a NiceJob replacement for automated SMS review requests, review replies, referrals or NPS. Many local businesses use one of those tools for Google and us for the website.
Compare our plans, see how Google reviews import works, or try the recorder without an account.
How we compared: prices and limits were read from each vendor's own pricing page on the dates shown above. VideoTestimonials is our product; we have said where each alternative is the better choice.
