Short answer

NiceJob ($75/month, no contract) and Podium ($399/month) publish the prices Birdeye does not. To show your Google reviews on your site, Trustindex costs $65 a year. For video testimonials next to your reviews, VideoTestimonials is $24/month. Birdeye quotes by request, based on your number of locations.

Birdeye Alternatives in 2026: 7 Options With Published Prices, Compared

Prices checked on each vendor's own pricing page between 2026-09-29 and 2026-10-08. We update this page when a vendor changes a plan.

Birdeye is a large reputation platform built for brands with many locations: reviews, listings, social posting, webchat, appointments and surveys, run by what it now calls AI coworkers. People look for an alternative for a simple reason. Birdeye publishes no price, and a single-location business often needs a fraction of what it sells. This page compares seven alternatives that do publish prices, from review requests to video testimonials.

Why people leave Birdeye

  1. 1

    No published price

The pricing page asks for your number of locations and contact details before it shows a price.

  2. 2

    Priced around locations

One contract covering what you deploy at your locations.

The pricing page is a form: business email, company, number of locations, name and mobile number. Birdeye frames it as "pricing built around outcomes, not seat counts", one contract that replaces point products. That suits a brand that wants to consolidate many tools across many sites.

None of this matters if you run dozens of locations and want reviews, listings, messaging and scheduling managed from one place by one vendor. It matters when you are a single clinic, salon or contractor that wants more Google reviews and a widget on its website, and you would rather see the price before a sales call.

NiceJob covers the part of Birdeye most small local businesses use: getting more reviews. Starter at $75/month sends SMS and email review requests and follow-ups, adds review widgets to your website, auto-shares reviews to Facebook and X, ranks staff on a review leaderboard, and gives you a reviews microsite. Pro at $125/month adds win-back campaigns for past customers, referrals, email broadcasts, AI review replies, NPS surveys and competitor tracking. Its pricing page says there are no contracts, and there is a 14-day free trial. Enterprise, franchise and multi-location pricing is available through sales.

Choose it if you are a home-service or local business and the goal is more Google reviews with little effort.

Not for: webchat, phone systems or appointment booking, which Birdeye and Podium include.

2. Podium — messaging, leads and reviews, with prices on the page

Podium is the closest to Birdeye in scope, and it publishes prices. Core is $399/month: a lead conversion platform with unlimited one-to-one text messages, review management with AI responses, 200+ integrations and a dedicated customer success manager. Its feature table also lists a website chat widget and Facebook, Instagram and Google messaging. Pro at $599/month adds an AI concierge, an AI reputation specialist, lead capture forms, hosted and text surveys and text marketing. Signature adds advanced multi-location management at custom pricing. Contacts, one-to-one texts and team members are unlimited on every plan; phone systems are an add-on, and its pricing page notes that prices can vary by industry, integrations, volume and carrier fees.

Choose it if fast replies to inbound leads by text are where you win or lose customers.

Not for: a business that only wants reviews. Podium's $399 a month buys a whole communications platform.

3. VideoTestimonials — video testimonials next to your Google reviews

From our pricing page

VideoTestimonials is our product, and it does a narrower job than Birdeye. Customers open a link, from a text, an email or a QR code at the counter, and record a short video or write a testimonial in the browser, with no app and no account. You approve it and publish it to a Wall of Love or one of 18 widget layouts on your site. Google reviews come in by business name or Maps URL, with no Google account or API key needed, and Pro at $49/month keeps them in sync automatically.

For a local business, a thirty-second video from a real patient or homeowner does what a star rating cannot. Starter is $24/month with unlimited video and 3 spaces, which covers three locations or brands.

Choose it if you want your best customers on video on your website, alongside your Google reviews.

Not for: review monitoring across sites, listings, webchat or review replies. We do not do those; Birdeye, Podium and NiceJob do.

4. Trustindex — your Google reviews on your site, for $65 a year

If you mainly use Birdeye's review widget, Trustindex does that for far less. It pulls reviews from 133 platforms, Google, Facebook and Yelp among them, into widgets. Single is $65/year for one company with unlimited websites, widgets and views. Pro is $125/year for 5 companies and Ultimate $349/year for unlimited companies, which suits a multi-location business that only needs widgets. It can also send review-request emails and QR codes, and offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Choose it if your reviews already exist and you want them on your site, at any number of locations, for very little.

Not for: video testimonials, messaging or listings management.

Its feature table also lists a Google Local (Google My Business) integration, branches and multi-store management. There is a 14-day trial.

Choose it if you want a review platform with a reputation manager and a known monthly price.

Not for: messaging and scheduling, which it does not sell.

Trustpilot is a public review site rather than a reputation suite. Its pricing page also lists location reviews and AI review replies. All paid contracts are a 12-month commitment, prepaid.

Choose it if your customers check Trustpilot before they buy.

Shapo is a small, two-plan tool that suits a single location well. It imports reviews from 30+ platforms, Google included, and on Pro keeps them in sync automatically, so new reviews appear in your widgets without you lifting a finger. It also runs AI, NPS and feedback surveys alongside testimonial collection. The free plan covers 10 testimonials, unlimited widgets and forms, a Wall of Love page and one survey. Pro at $29/month removes the limits and Shapo branding, adds a custom domain and unlimited surveys, with 2 months free on yearly billing.

Choose it if you want Google reviews on your site that update themselves, and simple satisfaction surveys, for one flat price.

Not for: review requests by text, listings or messaging.

The free option most local businesses overlook

Your Google Business Profile collects reviews at no cost, and it is where most local customers read them. Ask for reviews by text or email with your Google review link, reply to every review, and use a display tool to put them on your website. For many single-location businesses, that plus one of the cheaper tools above replaces most of what they used Birdeye for.

Staying on Birdeye

Stay if you run many locations and use the breadth: reviews, listings, social posting, webchat, scheduling and surveys from one contract, with integrations into your practice-management or EHR systems. Replacing that with five separate tools is rarely cheaper once you count the time. Move when you are paying for a platform and using one part of it.

Feature-by-feature: VideoTestimonials vs Birdeye

Your Google reviews stay on Google whichever tool you use, so nothing customers have written is lost. Before your Birdeye contract ends, note which Birdeye features you actually rely on: review requests, the website widget, listings or webchat. Then cover each one with the tool built for it. Update your review-request links in emails and texts on the day you switch, so new reviews keep coming in.

Where VideoTestimonials fits

We are the better choice for one part of what Birdeye does, the proof on your website: video and written testimonials from your best customers, collected by link, with your Google reviews imported next to them, for $24 a month. We are not a reputation platform. We do not monitor review sites, manage listings, run webchat or reply to reviews. If you need those, NiceJob, Podium or Birdeye itself fit better, and many businesses use one of them alongside us.

How we compared: prices and limits were read from each vendor's own pricing page on the dates shown above; Birdeye's product list from its own site. VideoTestimonials is our product; we have said where each alternative is the better choice.
