Telegram integration
Send every new testimonial to a Telegram chat or group through your own bot.

Short answer
Create a Telegram bot with @BotFather, add it to your group, and paste the bot token and chat ID into a form's Trigger tab. Every testimonial submitted through your collection form then arrives as a message with the customer's name and role, star rating, the testimonial text (first 300 characters) and a dashboard link. Telegram notifications start on the Starter plan.

How to connect Telegram
- 1In Telegram, create a bot with @BotFather and copy its token.
- 2Add the bot to the group or chat that should receive testimonials, and find that chat's ID.
- 3In VideoTestimonials, open a form, go to the Trigger tab, find Telegram under Notifications, paste the bot token and chat ID, and click Connect.

What gets sent to Telegram
- Message
- The customer's name and role, star rating and the testimonial text (first 300 characters), with link previews off.

- If the form runs a reward, the prize.

Good to know
- The bot settings are saved for the whole space, so every form in the space posts to the same chat.
- Only form submissions are posted.
- A failed post isn't retried.

Do I need my own Telegram bot?
Yes. Create one with @BotFather, add it to your group, and give VideoTestimonials its token and the chat ID. Messages are sent through your bot.
