Notifications in Discord, Telegram, and Microsoft Teams

Prefer Discord, Telegram, or Teams over Slack? We have native integrations for all three.

Not every team runs on Slack. VideoTestimonials has native notification integrations for Discord, Telegram, and Microsoft Teams โ€” all configured on a form's Trigger tab so you can route each form's submissions to a different channel.

Where to set them up

Open any form (Dashboard โ†’ Forms โ†’ (your form) โ†’ Edit), click the Trigger tab, and scroll to the Notifications section. Each channel has its own card.

Discord

  1. In Discord, open Server Settings โ†’ Integrations โ†’ Webhooks โ†’ New Webhook. Pick the channel you want and copy the webhook URL.
  2. In the form's Trigger tab, paste the webhook URL into the Discord card and save.

New testimonials post as Discord embeds with the customer's avatar and rating.

Telegram

  1. Message @BotFather on Telegram and create a new bot. Copy the bot token it gives you.
  2. In the form's Trigger tab, paste the bot token and the chat ID (or @channelname) into the Telegram card and save.

Works with channels, groups, and direct chats.

Microsoft Teams

  1. In Teams, open the channel you want notifications in, click the ... menu โ†’ Connectors โ†’ Incoming Webhook โ†’ Configure. Give it a name and copy the webhook URL.
  2. In the form's Trigger tab, paste the URL into the Microsoft Teams card and save.

Removing a channel

Clear the field on the Trigger tab and save to stop notifications.
