Best Testimonial Widgets for Wix (2026): 8 Tools Compared

Wix makes it easy to build a site without code, and adding a testimonial widget is no harder: you paste an embed code into an Embed HTML element. The catch is that Wix puts embedded code inside an iFrame, so sizing and floating widgets behave differently than on other builders. This page explains how that works and compares eight tools for Wix sites on video, layouts and price.

How testimonial widgets work on Wix

Wix's help centre documents three places code can go:

• Embed HTML. "Add Elements → Embed Code → Popular Embeds → Embed HTML." This is where most testimonial widgets go. Wix notes that "only HTTPS codes and URLs are displayed", and that "the HTML and URL elements in our editor are iFrames. Therefore, the code or site you are embedding won't be responsive." In practice, you size the element by hand.
• Custom Code. Under Settings → Custom Code, scripts go in the head or body of chosen pages. Wix's article says to "make sure that your site is published and has a connected domain." Use it for site-wide floating badges and popups.
• Custom element. For developers. Wix says that to use it "you must upgrade your site with a Premium Plan, connect a domain and have no ads on it."

Wix's own option: Wix Reviews for stores

If you sell products with Wix Stores, start with Wix Reviews. Wix's help centre describes it as a way to "allow your customers to write reviews about the products they purchased," with images and videos, and it supports imported reviews. It is the right tool for star ratings on product pages.

It is not built for testimonials about your business as a whole: a coach's clients, a clinic's patients, an agency's customers. For those, and for video stories on the homepage, you need a testimonial tool.

Senja publishes a Wix help article and a Wix use-case page. Its free plan includes unlimited widgets and Walls of Love for 15 testimonials, and its pricing page lists over 20 widget templates. Senja Starter at $29/month adds a custom domain and your own branding.

Choose it if you want a polished, well-documented tool for one brand.

Not for: several brands on Starter, which includes one project.

3. Famewall — no Wix app needed

Famewall's Wix page says its widget works "without installing a Wix app", and lists Wall of Love, carousel, grid, floating badge and popup layouts. Famewall Standard is $12/month billed yearly ($149 a year), with 4 walls, 4 custom domains and white-label embeds.

Choose it if your testimonials are mostly written and you want the lowest bill.

Not for: many videos. Standard includes 6.

4. Testimonial.to — text and social posts

Testimonial.to has a Wix integration page, and every plan includes a public Wall of Love and embeddable walls. Its free plan includes unlimited X and LinkedIn imports. Testimonial.to Starter is $30/month, with unlimited text and a custom domain but 2 video testimonials in total.

Choose it if your proof is mostly written or comes from social posts.

Not for: a video-led section below Ultimate.

5. Feedspace — generous free video

Feedspace has a help article for embedding in Wix. Its free plan includes 20 text and 20 video reviews and unlimited Wall of Love pages, with one-minute recordings. Feedspace Professional is $29/month with 3-minute recordings and imports from 100+ platforms.

Choose it if you want to test video on your Wix site before paying.

Not for: long free recordings.

6. Shapo — imported reviews that stay current

Shapo publishes a help article on adding Shapo to a Wix site. Its free plan covers 10 testimonials with unlimited widgets and a Wall of Love; Shapo Pro at $29/month imports from 30+ platforms with auto-sync and adds NPS surveys.

Choose it if your section mixes testimonials and imported reviews that should update themselves.

Not for: more than 10 testimonials for free.

7. Elfsight — a widget library with Wix pages

Elfsight has a Wix page for its testimonial slider and a page of Elfsight apps for Wix. The slider displays testimonials you type in; it does not collect them. Elfsight Basic is $6/month, with views metered on every plan.

Choose it if you already use other Elfsight widgets on the site.

Not for: collecting testimonials, or busy sites.

8. Trustindex — Google reviews on Wix

Trustindex's embedding guide has a "For Wix" section that uses the same Embed HTML path. It shows reviews from 133 platforms with unlimited views, and can send review-request emails that point customers to Google. Trustindex Single is $65/year.

Choose it if your customers already review you on Google and you want those reviews on the site.

Not for: video testimonials. It has no recorder.

How to add a testimonial widget to Wix

1. In your testimonial tool, choose a layout. On Wix, a carousel or single-row marquee is easiest to size.
2. Copy the embed code.
3. In the Wix Editor, go to Add Elements → Embed Code → Popular Embeds → Embed HTML.
4. Paste the code into the element and apply it.
5. Drag the element's handles until the whole widget is visible on desktop.
6. Switch to the mobile editor and resize the element there too, because the embed will not resize itself.
7. Publish and check the live site on a phone.

For a floating badge or popup on every page, add the script under Settings → Custom Code instead. That needs a published site with a connected domain.

Where testimonials work on a Wix site

Many Wix sites belong to service businesses: coaches, consultants, clinics, salons, trades and local shops. For them, a testimonial does the job a product review does in a store.

• Homepage, under the first section: three short testimonials or one video, so a visitor sees proof before scrolling.
• Each service page: testimonials from clients who bought that service. A client talking about the exact thing the visitor is considering is more relevant than general praise.
• Booking or contact page: one short quote next to the form, about how easy you were to work with. This is the last moment of doubt.
• A testimonials page: every testimonial in one place, linked from the menu. A hosted Wall of Love on your subdomain avoids sizing a long embed inside Wix.
• Your Google profile, too: keep asking happy clients for Google reviews as well, and show them with Trustindex or an importing tool.

When you ask for a testimonial, ask one specific question, such as "What was the problem before you came to us, and what changed?" Specific questions get answers that read as real, rather than "great service, would recommend".
