On Teachable, paste your VideoTestimonials embed code into a Custom HTML block in the page editor for sales and school pages, or into a Custom Code block in the lesson editor. Teachable doesn't enable Custom HTML blocks for new schools by default — you ask Teachable support to turn them on.

How to add testimonials to Teachable

  1. 1In VideoTestimonials, open Studio → Widgets, open (or create) a widget, and copy the code from its Code tab (HTML / Script)
  2. 2Open the page in Teachable's page editor and add a Custom HTML block (or a Custom Code block in a lesson)
  3. 3Paste the code, preview the page and click Update

Where to put testimonials on Teachable

Testimonials on a sales page

Student results on the page where people decide to buy your course.

  1. In VideoTestimonials, open Studio → Widgets, open (or create) a widget, and copy the code from its Code tab (HTML / Script).
  2. Open the sales page in Teachable's page editor and add a Custom HTML block.
  3. Paste the embed code into the body of the Custom HTML block.
  4. Preview your page to check the widget.
  5. Click Update on the page editor to save.

Custom HTML blocks aren't enabled for new schools. If you don't see the block, contact Teachable support to request access.

Inside a lesson

Showing students what others achieved, or asking them for a testimonial at the end of a course.

  1. In VideoTestimonials, open Studio → Widgets, open (or create) a widget, and copy the code from its Code tab (HTML / Script).
  2. In the lesson editor, click Add Content and select the Custom Code block.
  3. Enter the embed code in the code field.
  4. Click Save.
