Famewall and Testimonial.to both turn customer praise into a Wall of Love and embeddable widgets, and both are self-serve with a free plan. They sit at opposite ends on price. Famewall is cheaper at every step and puts its integrations on the entry plan. Testimonial.to costs more, holds video back until Ultimate, and in return offers stronger social importing, brand monitoring and enterprise options.

Paid yearly, Famewall Standard is $12/month and Professional $25/month. Testimonial.to Starter is $25/month and Ultimate $50/month for one space.

Two things stand out. Famewall Standard costs half of Testimonial.to Starter and includes three times the video (6 against 2). And unlimited video costs roughly half on Famewall, because Testimonial.to puts it on Ultimate.

Free plans

Famewall's free plan holds 10 testimonials, with 1 video and 1 audio testimonial, on 1 published wall with 1 collection page and 1 brand page. It includes unlimited widget types, unlimited social media videos, testimonial analytics, social proof avatars, third-party reviews and X (Twitter) integration.

Testimonial.to's free plan holds 2 video and 10 text testimonials, with a public testimonial page, Wall of Love widgets and unlimited imports from X and LinkedIn.

They are close on recorded testimonials. Testimonial.to's free plan is the better one if your praise already lives on X or LinkedIn, because those imports are unlimited.

When you will outgrow each free plan

  • On Famewall, the second video testimonial, or the eleventh testimonial of any kind, means upgrading. Standard lifts the testimonial limit and allows 6 videos.
  • On Testimonial.to, the third video or the eleventh written testimonial means upgrading. Starter lifts the text limit but not the video limit, so a video-first business goes straight to Ultimate.

Put another way: for written testimonials, both first paid plans solve the problem, and Famewall's costs half. For video, Famewall's first paid plan buys 6 videos, and Testimonial.to's buys none beyond the 2 you already had.

This is the one place Testimonial.to comes out ahead on value. If your customers tell longer stories, Testimonial.to Ultimate allows 5 minutes at $60/month per space, while Famewall needs Business at $99/month ($80 billed yearly) for the same length. Up to 3 minutes, Famewall Professional at $29/month is much cheaper.

Testimonial.to also adds video auto-transcription on Ultimate and an AI testimonial video editor on Ultimate+. Famewall offers HD video downloads from Standard and personalized video requests.

Imports and collection

Testimonial.to's importing is its strongest feature. Beyond the free X and LinkedIn imports, Starter adds social media and more than 10 review sites. Ultimate adds Brand Monitor, which watches for new mentions (2,000 a month; 5,000 on Ultimate+), and automated email invitations — 1,000 a month per space on Ultimate, 3,000 on Ultimate+. Ultimate also includes eGift cards for rewarding customers.

Famewall imports through its X (Twitter) integration, social media testimonials and third-party reviews from the free plan, and adds an AI Composer Assistant on Professional that guides customers while they write.

Collection forms are counted differently too. Testimonial.to allows 1 collection form per space on Free and Starter and unlimited forms on Ultimate. Famewall counts collection pages: 1 on Free, 4 on Standard, 15 on Professional and unlimited from Business, so separate forms for separate products or programs come cheaper.

Branding and custom domains

  • Famewall includes custom branding, white-label embeds and 4 custom domains on Standard, 10 domains on Professional and unlimited from Business. Agency adds full white-labelling with no Famewall branding.
  • Testimonial.to adds a custom domain and theme colour on Starter, and removes Testimonial branding only on Ultimate and Ultimate+, according to its plan table.

If you want your own brand in front of customers on a small budget, Famewall gets you there on its entry plan.

API and integrations

Famewall lists API access, webhooks, Zapier, Make, Slack and Discord integrations on Standard. Testimonial.to lists REST API, MCP, webhooks, Zapier and Make on Ultimate. For a developer integration, Famewall Standard costs $15/month and Testimonial.to Ultimate $60/month per space.

Testimonial.to also lists a Chrome extension and a Slack app in its product menu.

Brands, spaces and teams

Famewall counts walls, collection pages and brand pages: 4 each on Standard, 15 on Professional, unlimited on Business. Testimonial.to includes 1 space per plan, and on Ultimate each extra space costs $600 a year, so a business with three brands pays for three spaces.

On teams, Famewall includes 1 member on Free and Standard, 3 on Professional, 10 on Business and unlimited on Agency. Testimonial.to includes 1 seat on Free and Starter, 5 on the account plus 3 per space on Ultimate, and unlimited on Ultimate+.

Three common setups, priced

Yearly prices, since both discount a year paid up front:

  1. One brand, mostly written testimonials. Famewall Standard is $149 a year. Testimonial.to Starter is $300 a year. Both take unlimited text; Famewall adds 6 videos to Testimonial.to's 2.
  2. One brand, a steady flow of video. Famewall Professional is $299 a year, with 3-minute recordings. Testimonial.to Ultimate is $600 a year, with 5-minute recordings. If your customers need more than 3 minutes, Famewall Business is $959 a year, and Testimonial.to becomes the cheaper of the two.
  3. Three brands, each with video. Famewall Professional covers up to 15 walls and brand pages for $299 a year. Testimonial.to Ultimate needs a space per brand, at $600 a year for each one.

The pattern holds across most setups: Famewall is cheaper unless recordings need to run past 3 minutes, or you need what only Testimonial.to sells, such as Brand Monitor or SOC 2.

Support

Testimonial.to lists community support on Free, email on Starter, priority support on Ultimate and "front-of-the-queue" support on Ultimate+, with a dedicated success manager on Enterprise. Famewall lists email and chat support on Standard, dedicated support on Professional, high-priority support and dedicated onboarding on Business, and priority support on Agency, which also includes done-for-you migration for the first two clients.

What Testimonial.to offers that Famewall does not

  • Brand Monitor for new mentions as they are posted.
  • Automated invitation sequences on Ultimate.
  • Case study collection and NPS surveys with auto-routing on Ultimate+.
  • SOC 2 Type II compliance on Ultimate+ and Enterprise, and single sign-on on Enterprise.
  • MCP alongside its REST API, for connecting AI tools.

What Famewall offers that Testimonial.to does not

  • An agency plan with a workspace per client, per-client analytics and done-for-you migration for the first two clients.
  • Audio testimonials alongside video.
  • AI review summaries on widgets and Customer Pulse insights from Standard.
  • Several walls and brands on its entry plan.

Switching between them

Testimonial.to answers "Can I download the video testimonials?" in its pricing FAQ, and Famewall includes SD video downloads on its free plan and HD downloads from Standard, so videos can leave either tool. Written testimonials are easiest to re-import from where they first appeared: both tools pull in posts from X, and both import reviews from other platforms.

Testimonial.to's paid plans start with a 7-day free trial, and Famewall's first wall is free, so you can run both side by side for a week with the same customers and compare what comes back.

From our pricing page

VideoTestimonials is our product. Starter is $24/month for unlimited video and text, which is below Famewall Professional and well below Testimonial.to Ultimate, and recordings can run up to 5 minutes — the length Famewall reserves for Business. Starter includes 3 spaces for three brands or clients. The free plan holds 20 text and 10 video testimonials.

We are not the pick for the cheapest API (Famewall includes one on Standard; ours is on Pro at $49/month), for Zapier, which we do not offer, or for importing posts from X and LinkedIn on a free plan, which Testimonial.to does best.
