Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add Twitter/X Mentions to my Shopify website?
Import your Twitter/X Mentions from the Import page in your VideoTestimonials dashboard, keep the ones you want, and they appear on your Wall of Love. Then embed the Wall of Love on your Shopify site with its embed code (an iframe), or link to its public URL. The Shopify integration page lists the exact steps for Shopify.
Do Twitter/X Mentions update automatically on Shopify?
Not automatically. Auto-Import doesn't cover Twitter/X, so new ones are added when you import them. Your Wall of Love on Shopify updates as soon as you approve them, with no change to your Shopify site.
Can I customize how Twitter/X Mentions look on Shopify?
Yes. In the Wall of Love builder you choose the layout (grid, masonry, bento, 3D carousel or marquee), the card style, colors and fonts to match your Shopify site, and which reviews to show.
Will adding Twitter/X Mentions slow down my Shopify site?
The Wall of Love embeds as an iframe, which the browser loads separately, so it doesn't block the rest of your Shopify page from rendering. If the wall sits further down the page, add loading="lazy" to the iframe tag so it loads only when visitors scroll near it.
