Import testimonials from Google Play Store

Short answer

VideoTestimonials imports Android app reviews from Google Play. In Dashboard → Import → Reviews & Other, click Google Play, paste your play.google.com/store/apps/details?id= link and click Import testimonials. The page is read by the general review scraper, with an unblocking proxy as a fallback when it's blocked, and you tick which reviews to keep. On Free, review-site imports stop once your account holds 15 imported testimonials.

Android reviews are just as valuable as iOS. VideoTestimonials imports Google Play reviews using our review scraper, with an unblocking proxy as a fallback.

How to import Play Store reviews

  1. Go to Dashboard → Import → Reviews & Other.
  2. Click the Google Play tile and paste your app's Play Store URL, for example https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.yourapp.
  3. Click Import testimonials, then tick the reviews you want and click Import.

Supported URL formats

  • https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=<package-name>
  • Review-sorted URLs work too (&showAllReviews=true)

What gets imported

  • Review text
  • Reviewer display name and avatar, when available
  • Star rating (out of 5)
  • Review date, when available

Rate limits

Google Play throttles aggressive scraping. If an import returns fewer reviews than expected, retry in a few minutes.
