Import testimonials from Yelp

Short answer

VideoTestimonials imports Yelp business reviews from your yelp.com/biz/ page URL. In Dashboard → Import → Reviews & Other, click Yelp, paste the URL and click Import testimonials. Reviews are fetched through Yelp's review feed via an unblocking proxy, newest first and across all pages, with the reviewer's name, photo, star rating, text and date. Tick the ones you want and import them.

Local businesses live and die by Yelp reviews. Pull yours into VideoTestimonials and show them on your own site.

How to import Yelp reviews

  1. Go to Dashboard → Import → Reviews & Other.
  2. Click the Yelp tile and paste your Yelp business page URL, for example https://www.yelp.com/biz/your-business-city.
  3. Click Import testimonials, then tick the reviews you want and click Import.

Supported URL formats

  • Business page: https://www.yelp.com/biz/<slug>
  • Reviews tab: https://www.yelp.com/biz/<slug>?sort_by=relevance_desc

What gets imported

  • Review text
  • Reviewer name and profile photo (when available)
  • Star rating (1–5)
  • Review date

Displaying Yelp reviews

When you display Yelp reviews on your site, keep the reviewer's name, rating, and quote text as they appear on Yelp. VideoTestimonials imports them unchanged, so don't edit the quote text.
