Auto-discover scans public social posts for mentions of your brand and lets you review and import each match as a testimonial.
How to run a discovery
- Log in to your VideoTestimonials account at https://app.videotestimonials.video.
- Open the space you want to import into and click Import in the top tab bar.
- Click the Social Media tab, then the Auto-discovered inner tab.
- Fill in your brand's details:
- Business name (required) — the search term we'll look for.
- Business URL (optional) — your website.
- Twitter handle (optional) — e.g.
@yourbrand. - LinkedIn URL (optional) — your company page.
- (Optional) Toggle Auto-Monitor on to have the system re-run this search periodically.
- Click Save to persist the config.
- Click Discover Now to run the search immediately.
Results appear as cards below the form. For each match, click Import to turn it into a testimonial in your space.
Plan gating
Auto-discover is available on paid plans (Starter and up).
Viewing discovered mentions
Imported mentions land in your space's Overview tab with the original post URL preserved as the testimonial's source. Filter by source to see only imported mentions.
