You can easily translate testimonials into other languages using AI, enhancing your reach and engagement with a diverse audience. ๐
Prerequisites
Before you start translating testimonials, ensure you meet the following requirements:
- You have a Business or Pro subscription plan.
- You have at least one testimonial ready for translation.
Steps to Translate a Testimonial

Log in to your VideoTestimonials account
Go to the app at https://app.videotestimonials.video and log in with your credentials. -
Open the Overview tab In the space that holds the testimonial, click Overview in the top tab bar. You'll see every testimonial in that space.

Select a Testimonial
Find the testimonial you want to translate. Click on it to open the details view. -
Open the language selector
At the top right of the testimonial detail, click the language selector (globe icon). You'll see any existing translations plus an Add language section. -
Pick a target language
Click a language under Add language. The translation is generated in a few seconds using AI. -
Review the translation
The new language appears in the selector. Switch between original and translated versions from the same dropdown at any time. Translations are stored alongside the original โ editing the original doesn't overwrite a translation.
Important Notes
- Translations are stored in the testimonials' translations JSONB column, allowing you to manage multiple languages efficiently.
- If you encounter any issues during the translation process, ensure that you have the correct subscription level and that the testimonial has content available for translation.
