You will learn how to edit the content of your testimonials, including text, author, role, and photo, after importing them into VideoTestimonials.
Accessing the Edit Feature
- Log in to your VideoTestimonials account at https://app.videotestimonials.video.
- Open the Overview tab in the space that holds the testimonial.
- Click the testimonial to open its detail page.
Editing Testimonial Content
Most edits happen in the Edit Testimonial window. On the testimonial detail page:
- Click Edit at the bottom of the testimonial card. The window shows Name, Email, Company, Job title, Website, Rating, Responses (the answers to each question), and Content.
- Change any of the fields. In Content, you can also select a phrase and click Highlight to mark it as a key quote.
- Click Save changes (or Cancel to discard).
For quick fixes, Email, Company, and Website in the customer sidebar are editable inline: click the value, type, then press Enter or click outside the field to save (Escape cancels).
Notes
- To replace the avatar, hover over the customer avatar in the sidebar, click the camera icon, and upload a new image. The small X removes the current photo.
- To change the star rating, use the Rating field in the Edit Testimonial window.
- Imported testimonials show their source (for example, G2 or Trustpilot) as a label next to the form name.
