Invite teammates to your workspace

Short answer

In VideoTestimonials, the workspace owner invites teammates from Settings → Team. Click Invite Member, enter the email address, choose Viewer (read-only) or Admin (can edit spaces and testimonials), and click Send Invitation. The teammate gets an email link to accept. Seats come with the plan: Pro includes 3 and Business 10, and the owner counts as one seat.

Invite teammates so you can collaborate on spaces, forms, and testimonials together. Inviting requires Owner role and enough seats on your plan.

Invite a teammate

  1. Go to Settings → Team Members at https://app.videotestimonials.video/dashboard/settings/team.

  1. Click Invite Member. If the button is disabled, your plan's seat limit is full — upgrade your plan to add more.

  2. Enter the teammate's email and pick a role, then click Send Invitation.

Roles

  • Owner — full access, billing, team management. Each workspace has one owner (the user who created it).
  • Admin — can edit spaces, forms, and testimonials. Cannot change billing or ownership.
  • Viewer — read-only access.

Manage existing members

  • Change role — use the dropdown next to a member's name. Changes take effect immediately.
  • Remove member — click the trash icon and confirm. Their access is revoked instantly.

The owner of a workspace can't be removed or have their role changed from this page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I invite teammates on the Free or Starter plan?

Team seats come with Pro (3 seats) and Business (10 seats); Starter does not include team collaboration. When every seat is taken, the button reads Invite Full and is disabled, so you need to upgrade or remove a member before inviting someone new.

Does the person I invite need a VideoTestimonials account?

Yes, they accept while signed in. If they are logged out, the invitation link sends them to the login page and returns them to the invite after they sign in. Someone without an account signs up first and then opens the invitation link again to join your workspace.

What if the invitation email doesn't arrive?

The invite stays in the Team Members list with a Pending status. Click the copy icon on that row to copy the invite link and send it to your teammate yourself, or click the trash icon to cancel the invite and free the seat.
