Forms are the main way to collect testimonials in VideoTestimonials, allowing you to gather feedback from customers through customizable forms.
Understanding Forms
Forms in VideoTestimonials are versatile tools that you can tailor to fit different campaigns, audiences, or use cases. They allow you to collect both video and text testimonials, and you can manage multiple forms within your workspace.
Accessing Forms
Navigate to Forms at https://app.videotestimonials.video/dashboard/forms. You'll see every form in your active space plus quick actions to create, edit, duplicate, or delete each one.
Creating a new form
- Click the + button in the Forms page header.
- Give the form a name and description.
- In the form builder, choose the collection type (video, text, or both), set the maximum video duration, and tweak pages as needed.
- Click Save changes and share the collection link.
Managing forms
From the Forms list you can:
- Edit — open the form builder to change questions or layout.
- Duplicate — create a copy (useful when A/B-testing different pages).
- Delete — remove a form. You can't delete the default form until you mark a different one as default.
- Default — a Crown icon marks the default form (used when someone visits your space root URL without a form slug).
Form limits
Your plan determines how many forms you can create per space. When you hit the limit you'll see a prompt to upgrade from Forms directly.
