AI Video Creator — turn text reviews into cinematic videos

Short answer

The VideoTestimonials AI Video Creator, powered by HeyGen, turns a text testimonial into a narrated marketing video. Open it from Dashboard → Studio → Social Videos, pick a testimonial, one of 60 styles and a voice, a length of 15, 30 or 60 seconds and landscape or portrait, then click Generate Video. It costs 3, 5 or 8 credits depending on length.

Got a killer text testimonial but no video? The AI Video Creator (powered by HeyGen) turns that text into a cinematic video: an AI voice narrates the testimonial over generated visuals, with the customer's name and company as a lower third, in the voice and style of your choice.

How to create one

  1. Go to Dashboard → Studio → Social Videos and open the AI Video Creator.
  2. Pick a text testimonial. You can also add optional creative notes, for example "Make it feel warm and personal".
  3. Pick a style — 60 visual styles, filtered by category (Cinematic, Professional, Warm, Creative, Retro and more).
  4. Pick a voice — 10 curated voices across accents and tones. Preview each with a click.
  5. Pick a duration — 15, 30, or 60 seconds — and an aspect ratio: 16:9 landscape or 9:16 portrait.
  6. Click Generate Video.

Rendering

The page shows the render's progress (Queued, Initializing, Rendering, Saving) while HeyGen builds the video. The finished video is saved to the Social Videos tab (marked AI Created) and the All Saved tab of your Studio hub.

Credits

AI video rendering uses credits: 3 for a 15-second video, 5 for 30 seconds and 8 for 60 seconds. Your credit balance shows on the Video Creator page, where you can also buy more credits. If a render fails, its credits are refunded.

Ethical note on AI video

AI-generated videos can be persuasive. Best practice:

  • Only use AI video for text testimonials the customer consented to.
  • Add a subtle "AI-generated video based on a real review by [Customer Name]" label on your site when using AI video widely.
  • For your most important case studies, real video from the real customer still wins on authenticity.
